you must be a bit retarded. i went to the store with a 2 for 1 coupon too and its rather common sense that dipped cones (anything "premium"/"extra") is usually not included in the promotional deals. usually only bare basics are. you shouldve questioned this yourself.

By the sound of things, the girl or the 'second server' seems to be...what, 15, 16, 17? And by the looks of it, you're what, at least 30?

By the way, if you are still trying to get out of debt, maybe going to a high-end ice cream store is not the best idea.
Also, did you ever try eating your ice cream before letting it "flow" onto your hand? Oh right, no you didn't because you were too preoccupied with yelling at a little girl.
And of course that policy doesn't apply because first of all, sounds like you already got an ice cream you didn't pay for. Second of all, being upset is a reasonable excuse since you used the same logic. Both you and the girl used emotion as a way of knowing- she got upset and forgot to give you the receipt- and you got angry and RETURNED after you were about to leave to speak to the manager.
I've never been to a Marble Slab.. YET, because I live too far. But from the things I hear from my friends I bet not all servers there are like that and I plan on going there in the near future, disregarding your opinions wholly. In fact, I was searching for directions to their Kitchener location when I came across this blog.

Hi,
I too was a customer in the store at the time of this incident. as a witness I noticed the manager, And the employees trying very hard to resolve the situation and please the customer. During this process the man barked at the young employee driving her to tears. In this situation, especially over an ice cream cone that was very unnecessary. And I will continue to visit this store as I find it to be a very happy environment to take my children to on a hot day to enjoy a nice ice cream cone.
In closing i am very sorry for your incident, but i do beleive it is a good store. And as for the poor customer service i give them a thumbs up.

That is ridiculous and leads me to question the company entirely. Both the employees and the manager were completely out of line on this one, definitely.
